4D3N Cebu Travel Tips
1. For this itinerary to be effective, traveling light is a must.
2. Experience local life by taking jeepneys instead of opting for taxis. Note however, that taxi drivers are nice and get perplexed when you don’t have exact fare or small bills.
3. Make sure to have your taxi wait at the Taoist Temple parking lot. The temple is located inside a subdivision and taxis do not usually frequent that area.
4. Visit Casa Gorordo to gain some precious insight on how the local bourgeoisie lived in the classical times. It’s actually more fascinating than the Taoist Temple.
5. Do not stay up too late because this action-packed itinerary demands very early wake up times: 3am.
6. Get some sleep on the bus but make sure to have the conductor wake you up at your destination.
7. Try canyoneering at the Matutinao Falls instead of chilling at the Bluewater Sumilon Resort.
8. Bring a waterproof camera or waterproof your phone so you could take photos of your whale shark experience.
9. Try local the local food. Best places to eat are: AA Barbeque, Zubuchon and Casa Verde.
10. Have fun and believe in this itinerary. It may be tiring but it’s totally doable. 🙂
